AV Technology - Stand No. 65
AV Technology’s focus for this year’s Maintec is their Spi-VR® hand-held vibration data collector. The design of the cost effective Spi-VR (Spectrum Inspection and Vibration Recorder) addresses existing hand-held data collector shortcomings and allows companies to improve machine reliability and maintenance effectiveness.  On-screen equipment pictograms and built-in set-up templates aid effective data collection, whilst traffic light alerts and trends immediately highlight critical areas within the plant. Key differentiation for the Spi-VR is that all data and reports can be accessed via a dedicated web portal. Qualified AVT engineers can then evaluate the information and advise the client without having to make a site visit. The instrument also has the capability to import other equipment critical data such as oil analysis readings direct from the laboratory.

Nord-Lock - Stand No. 192
For two decades Nord-Lock self-locking washers have provided 100% safety for bolted joints. This unique bolt securing system uses tension instead of friction. When the bolt and/ or nut is tightened, the teeth grip and seat on the mating surfaces. The teeth lock the nord-lock system in place, allowing movement only across the face of the cams. The tension created makes the bolt self-locking. Nord-Lock will be demonstrating their wedge action vibration proof bolt securing systems on the stand. A comparative demonstration of various styles of fasteners will be tested under vibration conditions using a junkers machine.
